Hello! It’s a despairingly warm winter week here in Argentina, but I have a cozy Pendleton sweater on in protest. The kitchen renovation continues its dreary slog, and I’ve got a stack of reading to get through before heading up to various parts North America for a couple weeks.
I have always read articles about publishing a book, partly because it has always been one of my secret dreams, and on the other because I think it is a very fascinating industry - that of publishing - and continually forced to reinvent itself and change. I found this piece particularly useful and interesting, especially in the parts where you specified that publishing is 'an art and a science' and the advice on understanding and doing research before writing the book. In case I write a book on the relationships between humans and AI, the topic of my newsletter, I will definitely start from here, thanks for sharing!
